Tunisia is a country which belongs to Maghreb Countries due to its geographical location. Tunis is the capital of Tunisia. It is also the most liberal Arab country. Tunisia has 3000 year old history and is home to many natural wonders and archaeological attractions. Tunisia tourist destinations attract many tourists every year
Tunis is the capital of Tunisia as well as its largest city. It is a modern city with many banks, gardens, hotels, cafes, conference halls and chic boutiques. This city has many ancient
mosques, trade centers and palaces. The Big Mosque and Old Palace of the Bey of Tunis are some important structures. The architectural wonders like the Dar El Haddad, Dar El Jeld, Dar Ben Abdullah, Dar Hussein and Dar Othman are now the homes of cultural centers, government offices and restaurants. You can buy antiques, herbs, T-shirts, spices, carpets, jewellery and pottery from souvenir shops along the small winding streets. Tunis is one of the major Tunisia tourist destinations
National Archaeological Museum is situated in Carthage. It has a collection of antiques like the sarcophagi and early clay masks and displays the mosaics and models of Capitol and the Tophet. It is also home to Punic Carthage ruins. Bulla Regia is a Roman city lying in the north-western part of Tunisia. It has semi-subterranean houses which belong to the Hadrianic period. It has structures like Villas, Baths, Temples and Basilicas. Tunisia tourist destinations comprise

not disappoint food lovers

I  visited the country as a child and even then, I was intrigued with the culture and the people. Never have I met a nation so friendly and eager to please than the Tunisians. They truly are very welcoming and will do anything for you
There are two main airports in Tunisia - Monastir is the main tourist airport, which serves most of the main holiday resorts here. Tunis, in the capital, is home to more international flights and
business flights. Tunis is a very historical city in the north of Tunisia - ideal for a sight-seeing holiday. You can take in some of the historical ruins at Carthage or visit the thermal baths, one of the largest built under the Roman Empire, or the Roman Theatre, which is still used today for the summer festival of Carthage
Further south, one of the most popular resorts is Hammamet - this is one of the oldest resorts in Tunisia, home to an old walled Medina housing, many souks and little Tunisian cafes, where locals go to unwind and smoke the pipe
Hotels and coffee shops

Tunisia is home to many hotels, ranging from two stars up to five - one thing you will notice about Tunisia are the beaches - miles and miles of pure white sand stretching right the way
along the coastline. Hammamet is home to a lovely beach, with many water-sports available and even camel riding, which is definitely an experience
Further along, there is the new purpose-built resort of Yasmine Hammamet - my personal
favourite! This is home to a palm tree-lined promenade, a fashionable marina surrounded by upmarket cafes and restaurants - and the seafront houses many of its new four and five star hotels - there is also a new medina again, housing many little souks, gift shops and cafes where the locals tend to meet up after work
Next to the medina, there's a theme park called CarthageLand, which is great for the kids, with many water-rides, etc

Further along the coast you will find the popular resort of Port el Kantaoui - mainly known for its stylish marina and again many nice upmarket hotels, this has been a firm favourite with holiday makers for years. A ten minute stroll from here brings you to Sousse, which I believe is the largest tourist resort in Tunisia. I visited Sousse years ago - it's very nice - again a lovely beach and an old walled medina, which is home to the market here, where you can pick up locally-produced goods such as leather items, pots, ceramics and even local delicacies
Sousse is also the busiest resort, so if you're looking for a bit of hustle and bustle then this is the resort for you, as it has a busy town with many shops, bars and restaurants, catering for both locals and tourists alike

Skanes and Monastir are the other two main resorts, located just 5 minutes from Monastir airport - you tend to find the cheapest accommodation in these resorts - I would say these are most popular with families, due to the close proximity with the airport, as some of the other resorts can be over an hour away
I've spoken to a lot of people about holidays to Tunisia and the main response is "No I don't fancy Tunisia". My advice is don't knock it until you've tried it! Of all the places I've ever been, this is my favourite. The weather is lovely, there's a lot to see and do, the food is good and the people are just lovely
Don't forget it's also very close to the Sahara Desert, so you can do a Jeep safari too - so go on, try a holiday to Tunisia! I guarantee you will love it
Roman ColiseumThe country is not so great, so what would resort to relax you choose a set of tours will be everywhere the same: the ruins of Carthage, the largest Roman Coliseum in North Africa at El Jem, Kairouan holy city of Islam, with the oldest on the continent mosque and mausoleum,
where he is buried "associate of the blessed Prophet." In the same city in the desert go for rugs which are woven in Kairouan since medieval times. And the mass of various entertainment awaits tourists in the Sahara. For a small fee you let them into his guests live under the earth troglodytes. Berbera will of the oases in the desert treat grown fruits, tattooed with henna. And directly in the sand waiting for you air balloon, camel racing and horse riding, jeep safari. You can even leave the high dune on a snowboard

Hammamet
This is one of the most popular resort among foreigners is removed from the capital to 60 km. Last but not least is the fact that here is the fourth largest in the world center of thalassotherapy Bio Azyur. Besides, the country of sand "garden city", as called Hammamet, has special value. Hotels here for every taste and purse and book rooms in advance they should.

During the day, as usual, the people spend their time at sea as well as passing the evening, do not have to wonder: Hammamet - recognized as an international cultural center and all sorts of festivals, celebrations there is no shortage

From El Kantavi to Sousa only 5 km. This is not only a major resort, but also the third largest city of Tunisia, who is older than Carthage. The local architecture does not accept any impurities - the only Arab

Vacationers in Sousse not miss. If not the sea, then - museum of mosaic art, Christian catacombs, the old fortress. As for shopping, it often resorts offer only a small shop with souvenirs and beach items. In Sousse is full of shops, including fashion boutiques. Well, the marina with its restaurants - the usual spa attribute
